Simulation of lipid-lowering therapy (LLT) intensification in very high-risk patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease

•Simulation modeling assessed LDL-C goal attainment in very high-risk ASCVD patients.•Most patients (99.1%) were estimated to achieve LDL-C <70 mg/dL on current LLTs.•Approximately 88,715 US patients were estimated to not reach LDL-C <70 mg/dL.•For those not at goal after PCSK9i, evinacumab may be useful to reach LDL-C <70 mg/dL.
