Theoretical analysis of relative diffusion impedance in finite layer: Spiral-shaped Nyquist plots in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy

摘要
The spiral shape is ubiquitous in everyday life, and the spiral is also present in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. By analyzing the diffusion of two ions in the opposite direction in the finite layer, the relative diffusion impedance equation can be obtained and used to simulate a series of different shapes of the Nyquist plots, including spiral shapes. In this paper, the variation law of the spiral Nyquist plot under different conditions is analyzed, and the application of the relative diffusion impedance equation in the area of thin-film solar cells and hydrogen permeation is discussed.
