摘要
The Internet of Things (IOT) has emerged in recent years as a new field of research. The Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Networks (RPL) is designed for low-power and lossy networks (LLN). These nodes consist of many resources that affect wireless communication nodes. These nodes require rules and constraints to select the best rank and preferred parents from the neighbor nodes, which is called "Objective Function." This project will carry out experiments to investigate and determine RPL protocol performance in random and grid topologies for sparse networks under MRHOF and OF0, and compare the results in terms of power consumption, hop count, and expected transmission (ETX).
