摘要
The effects of deformation mechanisms on the mechanical behavior and texture evolution of extruded ZK60 alloy during compression along different directions at room temperature were investigated by experimental work and Visco-Plastic Self-Consistent (VPSC) modeling. Through calibrating the VPSC model's constants, the influence of {10-12} twinning and {10-11} twinning on mechanical response and texture evolution is expounded. Due to {10-12} twinning showing a more pronounced activity in the extrusion direction (ED), basal fiber texture changes abruptly. For compression along 45 degrees to the extrusion direction (45ED) and perpendicular to the extrusion direction (PED), the contribution of {10-12} twinning to texture was verified when a high enough CRSS value was set to prevent {10-12} twinning. The {10-11} twinning has a great influence on the texture evolution of ZK60 alloy during compression along different directions, so, the {10-11} twinning should be included in VPSC modeling to predict the texture evolution accurately.
