Analysis of the stability of chlorodiorganotin (IV) dithiocarbamates in deuterochloric acid by NMR titrations experiments

•Fifteen dithiocarbamate chlorodiorganotin (IV) compounds were synthesized.•Five-coordinate organotin (IV) dithiocarbamates are of great relevance.•There is a great interest in exploring the characteristics and properties of diorganotin(IV) dithiocarbamates to know their scope and limitations.•The stability in hydrochloric acid was analyzed for all compounds.•NMR titrations experiments were carried out using methanol as solvent.
