High Active Palladium Composite and Catalytic Applications on the Synthesis of Substituted Aminopyridine Derivatives Through Borrowing Hydrogen Strategy

An unsymmetrical 2-(diphenylphosphino) aminobenzothiazole (DPA) was used to synthesize a heterogeneous and recyclable palladium composite through co-doping C 3 N 4 . The resulting palladium composite (DPA-Pd@g-C 3 N 4 ) was carefully characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, N 2 sorption isotherms, thermogravimetricanalysis and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. In addition, the composite DPA-Pd@g-C 3 N 4 was successfully applied to the synthesis of N-substituted aminopyridine derivatives from the reaction of 2-aminopyridine and benzyl alcohols through borrowing hydrogen strategy. Graphical Abstract The corresponding palladium heterogeneous catalyst was synthesized through Pd-doped with C 3 N 4 and revealed high catalytic activity for the synthesis of N-substituted aminopyridine with good recovery performance.
