High-Speed Optical Wireless Communication Based on UV LEDs

Optical Wireless Communication (OWC) is a promising way in future 6G network. LiFi and Visible Light Communication (VLC) have been gaining more and more attention in the past decades. Besides, ultraviolet (UV) light is also considered for an OWC system. Deep UV wavelength is preferred to support solar-blind and high information security OWC links. This paper summarizes the recent development in UVC OWC and reports a high-speed deep UV OWC link.
