摘要
Transparent conducting materials are emerging materials due to their immense application in optoelectronic and photovoltaic industries. So, finding various methods to achieve the elusive togetherness of conductivity and transparency is also increasing. Transparent conducting transition metal oxides unfold a new class of materials used as transparent conductors. So, we have done low energy carrier dynamic of transparent conducting CaVO 3 thin film using terahertz (THz) time-domain and time-resolved spectroscopy. THz optical conductivity reveals the system is in the borderline of metal to insulator transition, and ultrafast optical relaxation is through electron-phonon thermalization. Overall, extracted parameter suggests that CaVO 3 can be a suitable alternative to existing transparent conductors.
