Wind Tunnel Assembly for dynamic pressure characterization

The wind tunnel is the most used system to make the aerodynamic test of prototype like vehicles and airplanes, in order to prevent project failures. In particular the dynamic pressure measurement has been a challenge in this type of systems. In this sense, the present work proposed the development of a wind tunnel all controlled by embedded smart system in order to make the dynamic pressure measurement. The air flow rate is measured and controlled by a controller system based on Programable Logic Controller S7-1500 and the average velocity was measured with the Annubar device inside the test section. The data collected from this system is stored in a Database based on SQL Server Express, for real time monitoring and historical analysis.
