An increased serum aminotransferases, total bilirubin, creatinine, and Urea levels in pregnant women could indicate the development of preeclampsia, and needs to be investigated. Among biochemical tests, serum Creatinine level was the best diagnostic marker of preeclampsia, followed by serum aspartate aminotransferase level.
