Research on circulating current suppression between Bidirectional DC-DC converters

Double closed-loop PI control and second-order linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) are used to suppress the circulating current formed by two parallel Bidirectional DC-DC converters in the energy storage system when their transmission line impedance is different during normal operation. The results show that when the line impedance difference is 3%, the two control methods can have a good suppression effect on the circulating current. However, through comparison, it is found that the second-order linear automatic disturbance control is superior to the double closed-loop PI controller in both steady-state performance and transient performance.
