摘要
Preventing brain cell loss and enhancing tissue repair are crucial objectives to improve the outcome of stroke. Fetal microchimerism has been implicated in brain repair following ischemic stroke in mice. CCL2/CCR2 signaling pathway triggers fetal progenitors trafficking to cutaneous wounds. Therefore, we sought to evaluate whether CCL2 could dampen brain damage in a model of excitotoxic lesion in post-partum mice.
