摘要
The 5 th generation New Radio is aimed to provide Ultra-Reliable and Low Latency Communication. In view of that, grant-free transmission method in the form of Configured Grant is standardized for low latency uplink data transmissions. Due to limited radio resources, the Configured Grant resources of multiple users can overlap partially or fully. As a result, collisions may happen, and the reliability may degrade. The current standardized features offer no mechanisms to resolute collisions in a proactive manner, and this leads to retransmissions, causing an increase in latency. In this paper, we aim to study a practical sensing design for users transmitting in a grant-free manner for prospective 6 th generation networks enabling shared resource allocation framework. The sensing operation can assist users in resolving collisions and reducing latency. We analyze error performance of proposed algorithms utilizing sensing operation. The simulation results are drawn and compared with baseline methods without involving sensing.
