•A UAV inspection system is proposed for pipeline inspection mission for EAST tokamak.•A dataset for bolt anti-loosening marks is created and applied to pipeline inspection mission with Swin Transformer.•A experiment is conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed UAV inspection system.
