With the rapid development of power markets carried out in China, the market performance evaluation has turned into developing concerns. Additional methodologies become needed to execute assessment in a benefit arranged open market. In this paper, an assessment structure of power markets is proposed. First and foremost, a metric-based basis is set up to assess the market performance in friendly, ecological, and financial viewpoints with the carbon emission factors considered. Then, a numerical assessment approach is introduced using the proposed metric-based rule. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) as well as the entropy weight method (EWM) are applied to obtain weights of metrics. At long last, a sorting methodology is acquainted with measuring the assessment results dependent on TOPSIS and IGC technique. The assessment structure can be utilized for the day-by-day performance evaluation of power market tasks. Moreover, it can likewise assess the assessment of various power markets in other regions in China.
