Rebar corrosion and ASR durability assessment of fly ash concrete mixes using high contents of fine recycled aggregates

•Fine recycled aggregates were potentially expansive due to Alkali-Silica reaction when fly ash was not incorporated.•The use of high contents (>60 %) of fine recycled aggregates did not increase reinforcement steel’s corrosion risk significantly.•A comparable corrosion risk to conventional concrete was observed when employing low contents of fine recycled aggregates and fly ash.
