摘要
•Core-shell inversion was observed during fabricating sandwich FeOOH/c-NiMoO4.•A low overpotential of 254 mV is required at 10 mA/cm2 for OER in 1 M KOH.•Present a low cell voltage of 1.51 V at 10 mA/cm2 for overall water splitting.•Deliver a high specific capacity of 1137 C/g at 1 A/g in 1 M KOH as SC electrode.
