Atrial fibrillation is highly prevalent in patients with mitral regurgitation, including those undergoing percutaneous mitral valve repair (MVr). This meta-analysis aimed to quantify the prognostic impact of pre-operative atrial fibrillation (preAF) on early and late clinical outcomes after percutaneous MVr.
