Frustration under control: In their Communication (DOI: 10.1002/anie.202202727), Clémence Corminboeuf and co-workers developed a general approach to map the active site geometry of immobilized frustrated Lewis pair catalysts to their activity for CO2 hydrogenation and demonstrated that a manyfold increase in their performance is attainable through judicious spatial control of the acid and base components.
