Message from the ICPC 2022 Chairs

We are delighted to introduce the program of the 30th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Program Comprehension, collocated with the 44th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2022)! ICPC is the premier venue for research on program comprehension. Starting as a workshop in 1992, it is now a wellestablished conference at its 30th edition and recently became an “A” conference in the CORE ranking. Program comprehension is a vital activity in software development, maintenance, and evolution, and is necessary to facilitate the reuse, inspection, maintenance, reengineering, migration, and evolution of existing software systems. The research on program comprehension encompasses both human activities for comprehending the software and technologies for supporting such comprehension. ICPC 2022 has five tracks. In addition to the main research track, it includes an Early Research Achievements (ERA) track, a Tool Demonstration track, a Replications and Negative results (RENE) track, and a Journal First track.
