摘要

•Zn-injection water chemistry (ZWC) can inhibit corrosion by improving oxide film.•About 10 ppb ZWC can effectively prevent corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.•ZWC with higher pHT range from 6.9 to 7.4 is beneficial to corrosion resistance.•An earlier application of ZWC is better for improving corrosion resistance.
