摘要
Background: Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI), trans-arterial chemo-embolization (TACE) and trans-arterial radio-embolization (TARE) are employed in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) not suitable for curative treatments, nevertheless complete responses (CR) are observed. Our mathematical modeling (https://doi.org/10.3390/cancers13092064) could better define response integrating circulating biomarkers and digital imaging. We report preliminary modeling results of cancer cells and tumor vasculature dynamics in TKIs, TACE and TARE treated patients with CR, Partial (PR) and No Response (NR).
