Solution-processable and photocurable aromatic polyurea gate dielectrics for high-performance organic thin-film transistors

•Photocurable polyurea dielectric was synthesized via simple condensation reaction.•Crosslinked polyurea has high chemical resistance against organic solvents.•Crosslinked polyurea can be UV micropatterned with 25 μm linewidth.•Crosslinked polyurea was utilized as a stable gate dielectric in an organic TFT.•Surface treatment of crosslinked polyurea improved interfacial properties.
