Second Footprint of Reports from Low- and Low- to Middle-Income Countries in the Neurosurgical Data: A Study From 2018 to 2020 compared with data from 2015-2017.

There is a growing consensus in the neurosurgical scientific community that the dissemination and analysis of epidemiological and clinical data from developing countries would provide guidelines and practical suggestions worldwide. Our study shows that the number of neurosurgical articles published by low-income countries in 2018-2020 remained at about 5%of the total, resulting in a negative impact on the process of globalization.
