摘要
•Expression of Tim-3+ T cells is increased and proportion of T cells are reduced in mice infected with C. psittaci.•Blockage of Tim-3 signaling is effective against C. psittaci infection via increase IFN-γ/Th17 immuneresponse.•Blocking Tim-3 signaling/neutralization of IFN-γ or blocking Tim-3 signaling/neutralization of IL17A failed to protect against C. psittaci infection.
