摘要
•Super-resolved cryoCLEM is limited by sample heating due to optical excitation.•Heating is the result of the excitation intensity and the properties of the support film.•Using metallic support films in place of the standard carbon reduces sample heating.•Increasing optical excitation intensity improves cryogenic super-resolution.
