An Innovative Accuracy Estimation Algorithm of Fingerprint Positioning

Heterogeneous positioning technology can incorporate various positioning systems through soft/hard switching. And soft/hard switching of different positioning systems relies upon the accuracy of positioning. Along these lines, positioning accuracy is a significant parameter in seamless positioning. Also, in seamless positioning systems, fingerprint positioning is commonly used because of its advantages of low cost, high precision, and wide application prospects. To propose an innovative fingerprint positioning accuracy estimation algorithm, this paper combines and improves based on previous studies. And the availability and positioning accuracy are estimated by using the Euclidean distance and the average distance between the reference point and the positioning result. Finally, this paper proposes a more adaptive accuracy estimation algorithm based on availability estimation.
