While the increase of infertility all over the world is difficult to assess given the inconsistencies in defining infertility, about 15% of couples have difficulty in conceiving a baby at some point in their lives. At the same time the growth of fertility hospitals also has multiplied in the current years. The fertility treatment involving multiple factors from basic guidance to advanced Artificial Reproduction Techniques (ART), a common man may not be able to analyze and choose the best fertility hospitals. Involving multiple criteria like facilities, cost, distance etc., the problem is suitable perfectly for Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods (MCDM) of operations research. In this work, fertility hospitals are being ranked using MCDM methods and the disagreement of ranks are studied with the help of Kendall’s correlation method and the ranks of all hospitals based on multi-criteria and multiple-alternatives are provided. Sensitivity analysis of these methods are studied in view of the criteria weight assignment. The results of these experiments confirm that the proposed approach will enable to apply multiple MCDM methods to resolve the conflicting rankings and an agreement could be achieved.
