摘要
Today, the development of radar technology is very fast. Modern technology uses a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar system. On the other hand, we find in parallel the SDR technology (software-defined radio) as a solution to build a radar system. In this paper, FMCW ground penetration radar (GPR) is implemented using SDR technology. FMCW GPR is used to detect and locate underground objects and measure the depth of an object. First, this research presents a comparative study of the basic structure of the FMCW radar, one with the USRP box and the other without USRP and displays the phase difference of the generated frequency. In this case, it is necessary to analyze and study the performance of the system according to parameters such as the binary error rate (BER) using the BPSK and QPSK modulation techniques in the GNU Radio environment. The implementation of the FMCW GPR system operates with a frequency of 259 KHz and uses a sample rate of 500 MHz is transmitted using a VCO with a sensitivity of 420.76 Mhz. This test uses the delay instead of the distance, the delay used is 1, 8, and 13 which transmit to the Rational resample with a decimation of 220. The radar system can detect small movements of objects at a distance of 2 m and a constant dielectric of the medium ( ε r , 1 = 4).
