摘要

•Hyperthermia characterization of magnetic nanoparticles is challenging requiring accurate determination of the intrinsic loss power.•Inaccuracies can be reduced by using differing drive-field types and measurement methods (calorimetry and AC magnetometry)•This approach can aid the identification of measurements which fall within the Linear-Response Regime.
