Forces driving amalgamation of nanoparticles and particles in solution

•In this study, forces driving amalgamation of nanoparticles and particles in solution are discussed.•To form agglomerates, amalgamations of colloidal entities for different parameters have been discussed with preliminary details.•In amalgamation, a net force exerted to the particle is based on minimum two frames of references.•Distorted particles amalgamate under complex interactions, so they can trace complex energy behaviors.•Geometric particles amalgamate under directional interactions, so they can trace quantized energy behaviors.
