摘要

The scattering by perfectly electric conducting (PEC) axis-symmetric objects, so-called bodies of revolution (BORs), is a famous problem in electromagnetics. One approach to characterize the electromagnetic scattering of such kind of structures is based on the electric field integral equation (EFIE), whose core is a specific integral operator known as the Modal Green function (MGF). The MGF of the EFIE exhibits a singular behavior when having the source and observation points close to each other.
