摘要
Surveillance systems may undercount decedents that do not meet the typical profile of those more likely to have an autopsy, particularly older patients with chronic health conditions. Our undercount estimate likely exists in addition to the estimated 20%-40% undercount reported elsewhere. See video abstract at, http://links.lww.com/EDE/B990 .
