Application of low-solubility dolomite as seed material for phosphorus recovery from synthetic wastewater using fluidized-bed crystallization (FBC) technology

摘要
•Phosphorus removals in the homogeneous and heterogeneous processes were studied.•The product was crystal Ca3(PO4)2·xH2O with the average size of 0.6 mm in FBC/FBHC system.•FBC has a greater performance than FBHC due to the active surface of dolomite.•Hydraulic optimization of FBC resulted in 92% phosphorus removal and 85% crystallization ratio.
