Vaccine-induced seroconversion in participants in the North Carolina COVID-19 community Research Partnership

•COVID-19 mRNA vaccines led to high seroconversion rates in a large community cohort.•Seroconversion rates decreased with increasing age at time of vaccination.•Prior serological evidence of infection was associated with faster seroconversion.•Symptoms associated with the second vaccine led to faster seroconversion.•At-home, point-of-care testing is feasible and yields robust serological data.
