摘要
•MIP-sensor for cytochrome c is prepared by molecular imprinting.•Its electrochemical behaviour resembles an array of nanocavity electrodes.•Affinity constant for cytochrome c is in excess to 1011 M−1.•Detection limit in buffer solution is in the 10-15 M range.•Detection capability in serum samples is at sub-picomolar levels.
