•The Ag-MnO2 Ferns-like were synthesized successfully via pulse electrodeposition (PE) method.•Ag-MnO2 electrode was used as catalyst for hydrogen peroxide reduction reaction.•Ag-MnO2 exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for H2O2 reduction.
