摘要
AXylaria species growing on nutshells of Juglans regia is newly described as X. rohrensis. It belongs to the X. carpophila group for having cylindrical, mostly unbranched stromata with a sterile apex and inconspicuous perithecial mounds on the fertile part overlain with an outer layer split into stripes. Phylogenetic analyses based on alpha-ACT, RPB2, and beta-TUB placed X. rohrensis right next to X. reevesiae in a clade, to which X. oxyacanthae, X. palmicola, and X. putaminum also belonged.
