Two compounds from Portulaca oleracea L. and their biological activities

Two compounds, oleraindole D (1) and cynaroside (2), were isolated from Portulaca oleracea L. Their structures were elucidated using 1D NMR. Additionally, the anti-acetylcholinesterase activity and antioxidant activity were evaluat. Oleraindole D (1) and cynaroside (2) displayed anti-acetylcholinesterase activities with IC50 value of 60.93 mu M and 84.30 mu M, and antioxidant activities with IC50 value of 58.17 mu M and 32.72 mu M, respectively.
