MXene-mediated in situ formation of Schottky junction for selective and sensitive detection of antioxidant tertiary butylhydroquinone in edible oil

摘要
•MXene Ti3C2/TiO2-g-C3N4 was synthesized by in situ oxidation of MXene.•In situ formation of Schottky junction of MXene promoted migration of electron.•This label-free PEC sensor can selectively detect TBHQ with high sensitivity.•Under visible light excitation, this PEC sensor exhibited good reproducibility.•The proposed sensor was used for the detection of TBHQ in edible oil.
