•ENB is a highly recurrent tumor and harbors the potential to involve the intracranial space even years after remission.•Non-contiguous CNS involvement is very rare.•Median overall survival for non-contiguous intracranial metastasis was 11.5 months.•Lifetime annual radiographic follow-up should be considered in all patients with ENB.•Future studies needed to standardize treatment protocol for optimal management.
