Contribution of the vascular surgeon to an experimental model of uterine transplantation

The first baby following a uterine transplantation carried out by a Swedish team was born in 2014. Since this success, approximately 80 uterine grafts were carried out throughout the world, mainly from alive donors, and 30 children were born in good health. The surgical technique of this recent intervention remains in construction. The objective of this study was to report a multidisciplinary experimental model of uterine transplantation involving the vascular surgeons.
