摘要

•Soil C and N contents and related enzyme activities declined after forest conversion to plantations.•Soil quality index dropped by 65% after plantation establishment.•Conversion to plantations increased the r-strategy fungi and decreased the K- strategists.•Changes in the diversity and composition of fungal communities were mainly driven by soil pH, TP and C/N ratio.
