Successful Percutaneous Retrieval of a Fractured Trapliner Guide Extension Catheter Lodged Within a Radial Bypass Graft

Guide extension catheters are a valuable tool in percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) but may be associated with potential complications. We present a case of a Trapliner guide extension catheter fracture within a radial arterial bypass graft, which was used during PCI of a left main/left circumflex artery chronic total occlusion. We describe the complication and the management strategy used to retrieve the device.
