摘要
As a new type of two-dimensional material with excellent mechanical and electronic properties, borophene is worthy of discussion on its interfacial tribological behavior. We studied the tribological properties of the honeycomb borophene/graphene heterostructure attached to the Al substrate and found that this heterostructure exhibits ultra-low friction during the sliding process. Using quantitative analysis, it was found that the charge flow at the interface hindered the interlayer sliding of this heterostructure. In addition, this heterostructure can be combined with the experimental preparation of honeycomb borophene grown on an Al (111) surface, which provides feasibility analysis and guidance for experimentally realizing the ultra-low friction of this novel heterostructure.
