LncRNA TPTEP1 inhibits the migration and invasion of gastric cancer cells through miR-548d-3p/KLF9/PER1 axis

•l Experiments proved for the first time that TPTEP1 could inhibit the tumor growth of GC, and miR-548d-3p could promote.•l MiR-548d-3p targets 3'UTR of KLF9 to inhibit its translation, affecting the inhibitory effect of KLF9 on the migration and invasion.•l TPTEP1 sponge adsorbs miR-548d-3p, thus weakening the promoting effect of it on the migration and invasion of GC.•l KLF9 can bind to the promoter of PER1 and promote the PER1 expression, promoting the PER1 on the migration and invasion.
