Endoscopic transcanal myringoplasty with anterior tab flap underlay technique: An analysis of 35 cases

•The repair of the anterior tympanic membrane perforation can present a problem because of the unstability of the graft.•Endoscopic transcanal myringoplasty with anterior tab flap is a suitable alternative technique.•The graft success rate was 88.6% in our study.•The percentage of air bone gap <20 dB increases from 34.3% (before surgery) to 82.9% (after surgery).
