Impact of speciation on the tellurium electrochemistry in choline chloride-based deep eutectic solvents
Electrochemistry Communications(2022)
摘要
•• Speciation of Te(IV) differs in two choline chloride-based deep eutectic solvents.•• [TeCl6]2− is kinetically labile and leads to a fast reversible electrochemistry.•• In choline chloride-urea, hydrolysis produces oxo-chloro Te(IV) complexes.•• Oxo-chloro species are kinetically inert leading to non-reversible electrochemistry.
