Synergistic flame retardant effect of carbon nanohorns and ammonium polyphosphate as a novel flame retardant system for cotton fabrics

This is a sketch showing the main contents of this work. In this work, a novel fire-resistant cotton fabric by combining SWCNHs and ammonium polyphosphate was proposed. The effects of different concentrations of SWCNHs on the flame retardancy of fabric were investigated, and the mechanism of flame retardancy for SWCNHs was also discussed in detail.
