摘要

•Validation of the CUPID code was conducted using experimental data obtained from the framework of the HYMERES-2 project.•The CUPID code was able to simulate the overall phenomena of helium stratification erosion by vertical steam jet.•The effect of the radiative heat transfer model was significant for predicting the gas temperature and helium concentration.
